The Spring and Summer months of 2007 were the birth place of the Illinois Route 66 Road Trip. Once the core concept of creating historical interactive matte paintings was combined with the legacy of Route 66, the project concept took off.
To prepare for the Mid-Point Review at the Academy of Art University, a printed proposal, portfolio, and formal presentation was to be created. Here a digital PDF can be seen of the formal project proposal. In addition, the sample short ten second demo video show at the presentation can be seen.
The presentation was a success and the panel gave an unconditional approval to begin the Illinois Route 66 Road Trip!
